XP Bot 2.0 — Terms of Service

Your responsibilities and rights when using the bot.

1 Acceptance of terms

By using XP Bot 2.0, you agree to comply with and be legally bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using the Bot on behalf of an organization, you are agreeing to these Terms on behalf of that organization. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Bot.

2 Description of the Bot

XP Bot 2.0 is a Discord bot designed to provide various functionalities, including message processing, commands, and other interactive features. The Bot allows users to interact through commands and provides automated responses based on the input provided.

3 Eligibility

To use XP Bot 2.0, you must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 13, you are not permitted to use the Bot. By using the Bot, you represent and warrant that you are at least 13 years old.

4 User responsibilities

By using XP Bot 2.0, you agree to the following responsibilities:

  • Proper usage: You agree to use the Bot in accordance with these Terms and all applicable laws. You will not engage in activities that could damage, disable, or interfere with the Bot's operation.
  • Respectful interaction: You agree to refrain from sending harmful, abusive, offensive, or inappropriate messages through the Bot. You will not use the Bot to transmit any content that violates the rights of others or promotes illegal activities.
  • No exploiting bugs: You agree not to exploit any bugs, vulnerabilities, or security flaws within the Bot. If you encounter any issues or bugs, please report them to us.

5 User accounts

While XP Bot 2.0 does not require users to create an account, the Bot may interact with users through their Discord usernames. You are responsible for ensuring that your Discord account is kept secure and that all actions taken through your account are in compliance with these Terms.

6 Privacy and data collection

XP Bot 2.0 collects and processes user messages as described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Bot, you agree to the data collection practices outlined in that policy.

You have the option to disable message collection at any time by using the /message_processing command.

7 Limitations of liability

XP Bot 2.0 is provided "as is" without warranties or guarantees of any kind. We do not guarantee the Bot will be available at all times or that it will meet your expectations. In no event shall XP Bot 2.0 or its creators be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use or inability to use the Bot.

8 Suspension or termination of access

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to XP Bot 2.0 at any time, for any reason, without notice. This may occur if we believe you are violating these Terms, engaging in harmful behavior, or misusing the Bot. Upon termination, all rights granted to you under these Terms will cease immediately.

9 Changes to the Terms of Service

We may update or modify these Terms of Service from time to time to reflect changes in the Bot's functionality, legal obligations, or business practices. When updates are made, we will notify users via appropriate means, such as posting the updated Terms within the Bot or sending a notice. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically for any updates.

10 Prohibited activities

You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities while using XP Bot 2.0:

  • Abusive or harassing behavior: Sending offensive, abusive, or threatening messages to others via the Bot.
  • Spamming: Repeatedly sending the same messages or engaging in spam‑like behavior.
  • Impersonation: Pretending to be another user, including impersonating the creators or administrators of the Bot.
  • Malicious activities: Using the Bot for any purpose that may harm others, including spreading malware, exploiting security vulnerabilities, or engaging in phishing.

11 Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless XP Bot 2.0 and its creators from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including attorney's fees) arising from your use of the Bot, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third‑party rights.
